What we think

Yes, this app is based on the research around the benefits of schedules and following routines to people with Autism. It may help to overcome executive functioning and attention deficits.

Yes, the app runs much like most calendar apps. It is easy to create a new event, with high colour contrast making it easy to view.

With a tap on a picture, a voice describes each activity. On the next screen, you can select the appropriate date, time, duration, and repetition.

Yes. There is capacity for daily schedules e.g. school timetable, as well as weekly and monthly views. A timer can be added when necessary, and the number of tasks and complexity of the tasks to be added can be customised to suit the individual. Editing can also be locked by the user if required.

The app allows users to drag items from the ‘to do’ to the ‘all done’ category. It also provides verbal and visual feedback.

Personalised photos can also be added.

For children, this app is best used with a parent, teacher or clinician. Adults will be able to use this independently to set their own schedules.

Yes. Personal photos, audio and video can be added to each event directly within the app.

The calendar can also be printed or emailed (PDF) from within the app.

Yes, it targets scheduling and time management. It can also be used to break down big projects into smaller, more manageable steps.

It would be nice to be able to alter the main background colour to personalise the calendar more.

The calendar can be printed, emailed (PDF) or shared directly from within the app. I also liked the ability to add my own photos and audio to each event.
