ChoiceBoard-Creator

ChoiceBoard Creator is the perfect app for creating customizable choice boards for the unique needs of individuals with communication challenges. It reinforces correct choice by either playing a video reward or expanding the selected image and playing the customized auditory rewards.

What we think

The app can be individualised the the person, and their needs. Personal images and voice recordings can be used to support the person to follow a clear process.

Yes the app is easy to use. There is a ‘help’ feature within the app that explains the different features and information is easily imputed through the iPad’s camera roll, or recording on the microphone.

Yes this app has a range of uses which can be generalised to different environments, and skill areas. It can be individualised to the skill the person is working on, and can include real life images to make it appropriate to the person given their age.

The app has the option to include a reward tone when the correct image is identified.

Yes this app could be used by anyone who has basic understandings of using an iPad.

Yes the user has full control over the images, audio recordings, reward sounds, colours and sizes when using this app.

This app is appropriate for the intended skill as it can be individualised extensively.

It could be improved to have a ‘lock’ feature so that children cannot edit boards without parents permissions.

I liked the fact that you can save multiple different choice boards with different themes and focusing on different skills.
